Two Months

Is it too early to declare that two months is the best age?

First of all, Bennet has perfected the “social smile” and now we are pretty sure she can get anything that she wants (especially from her grandparents).  Second, remember that blog post “Sleep. Eat. Repeat.”? Well, we have a very notable update: B spends so many more hours awake (and alert) now that we need to add PLAY to her daily repertoire. While her favorite place is still snuggled in our arms, we have some steep competition from the bouncer and the nature activity mat. Finally, she recently learned to stick out her tongue (and will emulate you doing it). We are tickled pink!

Happy two months, Bennet May! Sleep, eat, and play all day!

I can't wait to meet her! She is just precious! That coy smile with the head tilted still reminds me of Grandma/Grams!

According to the interwebs, she is my 'first cousin once removed' and more commonly referred to as my niece. Dexter, Teddy and Bennet are all second cousins, simply called cousins to one another.

Is that right? I guess it's up to you all but I would be honored to be Aunt Kelly for this precious little girl even though I know she has several wonderful Aunts already!

Oh, that smile! It melts my heart. We missed seeing you all while in Scotland and Ireland this month but happy you kept us up to date on Snapchat. We were tickled to see B's new trick but the disappearing posts left us wanted more. So happy we have this blog to see Bennet's sweet expressions over and over again:)

OMGosh! I don't know how you did those pictures Lindsay but it's just like being with Bennet as she can go through a dozen expressions in under 30 seconds. The whole new tongue thing is hysterical. She changes so quickly, pictures I took just a few weeks ago look so outdated! She's amazing and I can't stand it, it makes me want to be with her and hold her! Help! I'm so glad you will be here in Chicago soon so I can do that!
