Month Four Highlights

• We moved!

• Bennet’s repertoire of sounds now include giggles (!), squeals, and a heart-melting collection of coos and hoos from our baby bird. When she is not talking, she keeps her mouth busy by sucking on her fingers, our arms/shoulders, or any toy you have to offer.

• On September 7th, Bennet became a roller! Very eager to show off these new skills, she will roll from her back to tummy as soon as you lay her down. However, after an initial wave of pride and glee, regret and confusion kicks in when she remembers that she doesn’t actually like tummy time very much. (Although she has rolled from tummy to back a few times, this move is still a work in progress.)

• In other athletic updates, Bennet can now grab her feet with her hands (two of her favorite things coming together) and do an assisted sit up.

• Bennet took her first pilgrimage to Notre Dame last weekend… photos coming soon!

• After a very hot and humid summer, we are looking forward to some cooler weather this fall, since our big city baby likes to be out on the town.
