Neil was taking “paternity leave Fridays” to spend extra time with Bennet from May through September. We sure do miss those family long weekends, so B and I decided that we will try to meet her dad for lunch once a week while I’m still on maternity leave. The first lunch with dad was a big success. L+N+B went to a favorite pub, Puffy’s Tavern, and then back to to the BCV office. Bennet worked so hard drafting (and drawing owls) we had to take a quick post-lunch nap.
