Sweet Home Chicago

Bennet May’s amazing Gram and Great Aunt Denise threw her the most lovely “Welcome to Sweet Home Chicago” party on July 28th.

D&D Party Coordinators treated our guests to delicious food and drinks, supplied amazing views (and weather) for the event, and created the most thoughtful decorations for our little STAR! Huge thanks to the party planners (and their many helpers) and all of our family and friends who made the trip to celebrate with us. We are so lucky!!!

I was so touched at how excited everyone was to meet Bennet (and see Neil & Lindsay of course!). Traveling in from California, Indiana and suburbs that required hours of driving in traffic. What a great afternoon and the perfect way to introduce Bennet to her Chicago family and friends. There were lots of smiles, joy and even tears of joy! Neil, Lindsay and precious little Bennet, you mean so much to so many people. Welcome Bennet May to Sweet Home Chicago! :-)

She is quite the star! The party was fun and once again, she was perfect. It was entertaining seeing everyone there wanting to see Bennet, or be close to Bennet, or be photographed with Bennet, or to hold Bennet, or to talk to Bennet (mostly me).

It was a great party celebrating a GREAT baby!
